Hi, I’m Abdul Wasey and I’m here to support you on your healing journey. I’m a Muslim, South Asian, first generation immigrant, third culture kid, and a father of three highly-amusing kids. I’m passionate about helping BIPOC clients navigate difficult emotions, thoughts, and patterns of behaviours that may be impacting their relationships. I understand the need for BIPOC clients to have a therapist who can relate to the nuances of their culture and faith. You don’t have to hide your school lunch from me, you can be proud of it!

Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, etc., my goal is to provide an empathetic, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space for you. I’m also very passionate about helping BIPOC men get to a better place emotionally. My modalities include: Gestalt, Psychodynamic, and Narrative Therapy.

I know how daunting starting a healing journey can be. I’ve been there too. Scrolling through therapist bios finding someone who might understand your unique life story. Someone you can open up to and feel safe with. We’ll ease into it. Let’s take it one session at a time and you can set the pace.
